RSP-RS485

The Relpol RSP-RS485 is surge protector for signal lines in IT and Bus data transmission systems. Application: fieldbus systems (RS485, RS 422, V.11 protocols). Rated operating voltage: 5 V DC. Maximum continuous operating voltage: 6 V DC. Surge protection response time: (5, 6, 7, 8, SG) < 1 ns.

The protection capability of RSP-RS485 is defined by the surge-current, operating-voltage, pole and class/type values stated above. Those exact ratings should be matched to the protected AC installation and its required lightning/surge protection level.
